Course Information

Founded in 1895 by staff of the local Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company the Club professes to be the oldest member of the Bolton Golf Association still using the same course. Horwich Golf Club is located just north of Bolton in Horwich nestled between Chorley Old Road and Victoria Road. Designed by George Lowe this hidden gem is a small tight and tricky undulating moorland course with 18 tees playing to 9 excellent greens. From the higher holes it provides splendid views across the Lancashire basin.
